Pole Aqua-Valley brings together a network of over 210 members (businesses, research and training organisations, voluntary groups), principally within the Occitanie and Sud-PACA regions, an area home to one of the largest number of researchers and enterprises within the water industry.
Pole Aqua-Valley’s main objective is to contribute to the rapid expansion of micro enterprises and SMEs through active networks, sharing resources, and developing collective action across the entire range of professions within the water industry.
Through its approach to regional economic development, Aqua-Valley promotes all branches of the water industry. The Pole (cluster) accompanies its members on a range of issues such as market development, innovation, skills development, partnerships and international development.

GOVERNANCE
The governance of Pole Aqua-Valley is composed of several interacting structures.
Board
The governing Board plans and delivers Aqua-Valley’s general strategy as well as the associated strategic action programmes (evolving functions, widening remit, new memberships, budget, communication, preparation of performance-based contracts, monitoring of objectives, etc.).
The Board is the main management structure representing Pole Aqua-Valley. Secretariat functions and support services are provided by the Bureau.

Project Evaluation Committee (PEC)
The Labellisation Committee, part of Pole Aqua’s governance structure, carries out the evaluation of innovative projects.
The Labellisation Committee, is composed of experts representatives from the economic sector and from Academia & the scientific community.
This Committee monitors the pertinence of the projects proposed, and examines the coherence and complementarity between finance and policies implemented across the regions.
